Who We Are

The Bonner County Sportsmen's Foundation was founded in 2019 and is a 501c3 tax entity and sister club to the Bonner County Sportsmen's Association which was formed in 1934.

We will oversee the education projects such as Youth Day at the Range. Along with Scholarships for higher education and camping opportunities. We will continue the maintenance of the Ed Lehman Wildlife Center located at the Bonner County Fairgrounds.

 

Accomplishments

We award over $1000 a year in scholarships for higher education and/or trade schools. We have sent several lucky children to outdoor camp every year. We sponsor the Forestry Contest and 4H shooting awards. 

 

Affiliations

We are a sister club of the Bonner County Sportsmen Association.

 

Activities

Recent activities are many and varied. We have a strong commitment to Hunter Education. We believe safe and ethical hunters are essential for hunting to continue in the future years. We offer both Rifle and Archery education classes with signup through Idaho State Fish and Game. We welcome anyone who would like to join our cadre of instructors.

 

Regular annual activities include our annual Gun 'n Horn Show the first weekend in March.
